The Space Advocate mission is used for those needing to improve space utilization (and capacity) and durability of space (adaptability) while supporting and improving the experience of the occupants to promote wellness and productivity.  

We facilitate community and user-driven strategic planning and interior design decisions that bring together the organization and the people. Whether it is gaining an understanding of the future to create a longer term space goal, or understanding how to better utilize existing space.

Utilizing the following approaches: 

DESIGN FOR A DAY 

Fixed Fees

Full Day Space Workshop that is Inclusive of Space Users. This includes Pre-Occupancy Survey, Post-Occupancy Survey (10-15 min) for all occupants, interviews with management and key stakeholders, work sessions, review of documents 

This service currently is a LEED Pilot Credit to apply to LEED projects looking to achieve more points. 

PURPOSE

Work with [design advisory committee, space representatives] to translate  educational program initiatives and instructional activities into a functional space program. 

Helps clarify and establish space program needs and priorities. This supports the design process for the architects, engineers and other professionals responsible for building design. 

SPACE CONSULTATION 

SF Based Fixed Fee

This reflects traditional interior design services. 

Includes Space Walkthrough, measurements,  interview with project reps, determine project requirements including programmatic and functional. 

RESULTS

A space plan including 3D drawings, furniture plan, furniture bid package,  and space recommendations including relevant facility upgrades (interior renewal items).
